Eco Bumpers Process
Eco Bumpers is a niche product produced for the automotive collision industry. It's introduction is a result of the growing demand for quality reconditioned bumper bars throughout the national repair network.

A majority of these bumpers are sourced from panel shops. In most cases these would have been disposed of to general waste bins and headed for land fill. Our process consists of collecting these plastic bumpers, assessing the quality of the core units then directing those bumpers to be either reconditioned or recycled (shredded) through Australian Plastics.

Only Quality Cores / Bumpers Used

Our core units consist of minor damaged bumpers
These represent 13% of all bumpers collected
Bumpers are clamped on jigs and worked back into shape
Out of shape bars go through a heat treatment therapy
Bumpers then go through our wash and clean division

Note: We can repair bumpers outside these specifications on request.

Plastic Welding / Repairs

Our plastics repairs teams undergo ongoing training
Plastral has given us the ability to deliver quality repairs
We use the latest welding rods, tools and heat apparatus

Finishing / Preparation

We aim to solve past industry issues in areas of refinishing
In alliance with WPS we will produce quality products
Eco Bumpers are prepared and finished using a range of WPS products tailored for our products
WPS trainer and tech support available to customers

Packaging

Our finished product is packaged in specially made tube-bubble
It is biodegradable and environmentally friendly
Manufactured by Polycell specifically for Eco Bumpers
